Tumwater Falls Park is a riverside nature park on 15 acres. It is open to the public and free of charge. It includes walking trails, lawns and a playground. There is a wheelchair accessible entrance and because the trail distance is only one half mile, it’s a great scenic loop for kids. There are signs throughout that illustrate the history of the area. The old Olympic Brewery can be seen from the lower falls and in September and October, you can watch the fish ladder and see salmon make their way upstream.
