Watershed Park is 153 acres of public land in Olympia, WA. In the late 1800’s it supplied almost all of the city’s water. There is a 1.4 mile loop trail that is accessible year round. Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a leash. The walk has a few steep hills but because of the short distance, it’s kid friendly. There are some boardwalks, however the rest of it can become muddy during the rainy season so make sure you wear appropriate shoes. It’s a dense, beautiful walk packed full of native plants and wildlife.
